A DJ’s job at a party involves more than just playing music. Here are some key responsibilities:
- Music Selection: A DJ is responsible for selecting and playing music that fits the theme of the party and appeals to the crowd. They should have a wide range of music genres to cater to different tastes.
- Reading the Crowd: A good DJ can read the mood of the crowd and adjust the music accordingly. They should be able to energize the crowd and keep them engaged.

- MC Duties: Depending on the event, the DJ might also act as the Master of Ceremonies (MC), making announcements, introducing guests, or leading games.

- Equipment Management: DJs are responsible for their own equipment. They should know how to set up, operate, and troubleshoot their equipment.
